We are proud to announce the completion of Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School’s new Senior Centre – a major milestone in our Master Plan to provide exceptional facilities for our students.
This state-of-the-art building is more than just a space, it’s a purpose-built environment supporting academic excellence, student wellbeing, and co-curricular opportunity. At its heart is a bespoke Year 12 precinct featuring dedicated study zones, a communal lounge, and a student kitchen – all designed to support a balanced, productive final year.
The Centre also boasts a flexible auditorium space for gatherings, exams, and learning, as well as a major extension to our gymnasium. This expanded facility is home to the Matt Fydler Sports Academy, with features including an indoor 40m sprint track and elite training equipment.
Supporting the growth of culinary arts at Lindisfarne, the Trades Skills Centre has been expanded to include two new, purpose-built Food Technology classrooms – perfectly equipped for hands-on learning and nurturing the culinary talents of our students. The extension of the existing Tradeskills Centre deck has expanded areas for students and staff to enjoy the outdoors and ocean views.
From every vantage point – whether studying in the dedicated Year 12 workspace, stepping out onto the Trades Skills deck, or gathering in the new multi-purpose building – students and staff are treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean, reinforcing our unique coastal setting as an inspiring place to learn and grow.
The enhancements to on-campus parking, external tiered seating, and landscaping further reflect our commitment to accessibility, community use, and outdoor learning.
We invite the local community to explore the new Senior Centre in our showcase video below.
The future at Lindisfarne has never looked brighter.
