GIVING AT LINDISFARNE

Lindisfarne is what it is today because of those who came before us.
Giving is one way we continue that story. Fees support today. Giving helps prepare for the future.

Shaping what comes nextShaping what comes next

A tradition of generosity.

For generations, Lindisfarne has grown through the generosity of its community — expressed in both big and small ways.

“We are proud to support Lindisfarne and its commitment to building a thriving community for the benefit of current and future students.”

– Current Donor (2026) – Lindisfarne Foundation

“My daughter benefited from a Lindisfarne Scholarship, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunities it provided. Today, she is studying internationally on a university scholarship, something that I am sure would not have been possible without the support she received at Lindisfarne.”

– Past Parent (2024) – Scholarship Recipient

Why giving matters.

Every student’s journey at Lindisfarne is shaped by the environment around them.

  • The spaces they learn in.
  • The opportunities they are given.
  • The sense of belonging they experience along the way.

These are not simply facilities or programs.

They are part of the formation of each young person — a bridge between who they are now and who they are becoming.

Giving is one way we contribute to that journey.

Building what comes next.

A Lindisfarne education is sustained through school fees, which support the day-to-day life of the school. Giving allows us to look beyond the immediate; strengthening what already exists and extending what is possible for students.

Building on a Strong Foundation

The recent completion of the Senior Centre marks an important milestone in Lindisfarne’s Master Plan; delivered through careful planning and the strength of our existing resources.

It stands as a clear reflection of what the school can achieve: a purposeful environment supporting students at a pivotal stage in their journey.

As we look to the next stages, including the Year 7 Centre and Creative Industries precinct, we have the opportunity to build on this momentum.

Giving allows our community to play a part in what comes next: not to replace what has already been achieved, but to extend it.

Learning Environments and Student Opportunity

At Lindisfarne, spaces are designed with purpose; not simply as buildings, but as environments that shape how students learn, connect and grow.

In practice, this means:

  • Spaces that foster creativity and collaboration
  • Environments that support a sense of belonging
  • Opportunities for students to explore, perform and innovate

These environments are most powerful when they are accessible.
Through existing scholarship and support programs, more students can experience a Lindisfarne education.

Together, these elements work hand in hand:

  • environments that enable learning
  • and opportunity that ensures access

Each contribution helps strengthen both.

Contributing to the future.

There are several ways families and community members can contribute. Each one playing a part in what we build together.

Ongoing giving

Support current priorities and immediate opportunities.

One-time contribution

Contribute regularly to support long-term initiatives and future planning.

Over time, opportunities to contribute through time, expertise and connections will continue to grow, reflecting the many ways our community supports one another.

Our community in action.

Almost $44 million has been invested in new learning spaces since 2018.

A total of $12.3 million has been provided in scholarships and bursaries since 2017.

More than 735 students students have been supported through scholarships and bursaries since 2017.

Over time, the strength of the Lindisfarne community is reflected in what has been built together. Through existing scholarships and supporting built initiatives, we can extend access to a Lindisfarne education; ensuring more students are able to benefit from the opportunities it provides.

Every contribution helps sustain and grow these opportunities for future students.

A Foundation of Generosity

From its earliest days, Lindisfarne has been shaped by acts of generosity grounded in belief and community.

Support from the Tweed Heads Bowls Club helped secure the land and first classroom at the (now) Junior Campus. Over time, that support was quietly gifted, reflecting a simple belief in what the School could become.

In another significant act of generosity, Bill and Shirley Bedser donated the land that would become the Middle and Senior School campus.

Together, these contributions made it possible for Lindisfarne to grow into a full Kindergarten to Year 12 school, creating opportunities for students and families that had not previously existed.

These were not acts driven by recognition, but by a shared belief in the value of education and in the kind of community Lindisfarne could become.
