Lindisfarne recently celebrated a significant milestone with the official Turning of the Sod Ceremony for our new Year 7 Centre and Creative Industries Precinct.
It was a pleasure to share this exciting occasion with students, staff, School Council, architects, builders, and project partners as we broke ground on what will become a signature learning space on our Mahers Lane campus.
The new Year 7 Centre will reshape how students begin their secondary school journey, providing a purpose-built environment that supports learning, connection, and a confident transition into high school. Alongside this, the Creative Industries Precinct will serve as a future-focused hub for innovation, creativity, and collaboration across a range of disciplines.
Both facilities are expected to be operational for the 2027 school year, with the Class of 2032 set to be the first Year 7 cohort to learn in the new Year 7 Centre.
