Lindisfarne is fortunate to have a team of highly experienced cross-disciplinary teachers with extensive industry experience in science, technology, mathematics and engineering. These teachers are driving our STEM initiatives throughout the school and bringing their skills and expertise to the classroom for the benefit of our students.

Students are fortunate enough to participate in cross-curricular, project-based learning in Stage 4 Mathematics, Science and Technology subjects. These projects are based on locally relevant themes such as sustainable, environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient housing, and give our students the opportunity to design creative solutions to real community problems, as well as learn science, mathematics and digital technology skills along the way.

Lindisfarne recognises the important role Digital Technology has to play in developing successful students. Deep engagement with computer coding partnered with a solid foundation in mathematics and science helps students to develop higher-order logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Recently, the Middle School introduced a greater focus on coding in the classroom and as a means of providing further enrichment and engagement with Mathematics and Science.
