General Hand

Full Time Permanent Position 

Commencing ASAP 

Key Competencies:

  • General landscaping duties for the purpose of ensuring safe and attractive grounds.
  • Clean landscaped areas and related items (e.g. raking leaves, removing trash, sweeping walkways, etc.) for the purpose of preventing flooding and removing hazards.
  • Maintain and operate job-related grounds keeping and irrigation equipment.
  • Undertake minor maintenance repair work both supervised or non-supervised.
  • General labouring tasks.
  • Tasks involving moving furniture and setup and breakdown of seating for events.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.
  • Have an understanding of and commitment to the Anglican Christian ethos of the School
  • Hold a current NSW Working With Children Check (or be eligible to apply for one).

TAS Workshop Assistant

Part Time Contract Position

Commencing 20 January 2020

Key Competencies:
  • Be a key participant in the ongoing coordination, management and maintenance of WHS in the workshop environs, to maintain appropriate standards and provide a safe environment for staff and students

  • Provide support for teaching staff and students to ensure materials and resources are available for practical lessons and to ensure they run smoothly

  • Provide a broad range of workshop support to all departments of the School as required

  • Have an understanding of and commitment to the Anglican Christian ethos of the School

TAS Teacher - Computer Science

Full Time 1 Year Contract Position

Commencing Term 1, 20 January 2020

Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School is seeking to appoint a dynamic digital technology teacher with the ability to teach computing subjects across Years 7-12.

Key Competencies:

 

  • Have passion, expertise and experience in teaching a range of digital technologies and design such as:

  • Senior Software Design & Development (SDD) - Stage 6

  • Information & Software Technology (IST) - Stage 5

  • VET - Information & Digital Technology (IDT) - Stage 6

  • Technology - Mandatory - Stage 4

  • Ability to inspire students to explore STEM technologies and help to lead and showcase technological innovation across the school

  • Ability to maintain a positive and effective learning environment through well prepared and varied lessons, which cater to the range of student abilities and interests

  • Set realistic and challenging academic standards of student performance

  • Provide prompt and comprehensive attention to student work submitted for marking

  • Demonstrate high levels of professionalism in all activities

  • Experienced with teaching the NSW Syllabus is an advantage

  • Have an understanding of and commitment to the Anglican Christian ethos of the School

  • Hold a current NSW Working With Children Check (or be eligible to apply for one).
